How Raisonance is built to protect data. The guiding principle is local-first: patient data is not uploaded to our servers by default.
Local-first architecture
Patient data is stored on the clinician’s workstation and is not transmitted to our servers under the standard configuration. There is no default cloud upload of patient health data.
Encryption
We protect data in transit and at rest using appropriate encryption. Optional synchronisation encrypts patient data before transfer to storage controlled by your clinic; ASTRONE does not hold the encryption keys. Sensitive credentials are protected using platform security controls.
Software updates
Software updates are authenticated before installation.
Staff access
Our staff cannot access patient data, which stays on your device. Access to account and billing data is limited to what is needed to operate the service.
Logging
Diagnostic logging is designed to minimise patient information.
Backups
Because data is stored locally, you are responsible for backing up your devices. Optional synchronisation uses encrypted storage selected and controlled by your clinic.
Artificial intelligence
The AI model runs locally on your workstation; prompts and patient data are not sent to a remote model provider. See the AI use and limits page.
